Services We Provide
School-Based Nursing
Supporting Children's Health and Education, Hand-in-Hand
At MSS, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and participate fully in school, regardless of their medical needs. That’s why we provide specialized school-based nursing services designed to support students with complex health conditions in the classroom and beyond.
Our highly skilled nurses work directly in the school setting—partnering with teachers, administrators, and families to create a safe and supportive environment where children can thrive academically and socially. Whether managing tracheostomies, ventilators, seizure disorders, medication administration, or other complex care needs, our nurses ensure that each child receives the attentive, individualized care required to succeed in their educational journey.
We also collaborate closely with families and school staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and Individualized Health Plans (IHPs), ensuring seamless communication and consistency of care between home, school, and healthcare providers.
With MSS, parents gain peace of mind knowing their child is safe and supported at school, while students gain the confidence and independence they need to focus on learning and friendships.

Nursing Transition to Adult Service
When Your Child Grows, We Grow with Them
As children with complex medical needs grow, their care requirements evolve. At MSS, we recognize how important it is to provide care that adapts to each stage of life—from adolescence into adulthood. Our goal is to ensure that your child continues to receive the right support at the right time, tailored to both their medical needs and developmental milestones.
Because many of our nurses and case managers work with families for years, they build a deep understanding of your child’s unique conditions, personality, and goals. This continuity of care allows us to support transitions smoothly—whether it’s adjusting to new medical technologies, navigating changing insurance plans, or connecting with adult community resources.
Our dedicated case managers partner with families to identify and enroll in programs that extend support into adulthood, helping ensure that your loved one can continue to grow, thrive, and remain at home.
At MSS, we are honored to be considered part of your extended family. We don’t just provide care—we celebrate milestones, walk with you through life’s transitions, and remain committed to your child’s health, independence, and future.

Military Families
At MSS, we are honored to support active duty and retired military families who sacrifice so much for our nation. Since the 1980s, we have partnered with military families to ensure their children receive the highest quality home nursing care—delivered with the compassion, professionalism, and respect they deserve.
MSS is contracted both nationally and locally with TRICARE regions, Medicaid, and most major commercial insurers. Our team is highly experienced in navigating TRICARE benefits, including the Individual Case Management Program for Persons with Extraordinary Conditions (ICMP-PEC) and the Extended Care Health Options (ECHO) program. This expertise ensures families get the services they need without unnecessary stress or delays.
We also coordinate care with a wide network of providers, including physical, occupational, and speech therapists, respiratory specialists, and durable medical equipment (DME) partners—helping families manage all aspects of their child’s care seamlessly.
For families facing a Permanent Change of Station (PCS), MSS will gladly assist with the transition—whether that means coordinating with another Continuum office or collaborating with trusted providers in your new location.
At MSS, we see it as both a privilege and a responsibility to stand beside our military families, ensuring your loved ones receive the same dedication and commitment at home that you give in service to our country.
